Selia was born on January 6, 1941 in Big Spring, Texas to her parents Jacinto and Pilar Hilario.
Selia is preceded in death by her parents Jacinto and Pilar Hilario, her beloved husband Adolfo Rodriguez, and her sons Aldolfo Jr. and Raymond Rodriguez.
She is survived by her children; Mary Polston (Rick) of Chowchilla, Robert Rodriguez of Chowchilla, Daniel Rodriguez (Marylou) of Chowchilla, Anthony Rodriguez (Tina) of Chowchilla, Victor Rodriguez, Jesse Rodriguez of Portales, New Mexico, Richard Rodriguez (Gloria) of Portales New Mexico, Carol Sousa (David) of Chowchilla, and Rodolfo Rodriguez of Chowchilla.
Selia also leaves behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Selia's passion was cooking for her family, she also loved to draw and color, listen to music and dance. Her favorite times was spending time at the kitchen table with the family having meaninful conversations, no matter who walked through her door. Her favorite flower was the carnations.
A Funeral Service will be held at Chowchilla District Cemetery, located at 23359 Road 14 1/2, Chowchilla, California. The service is scheduled for January 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
