Born in 1969, Élise grew up in Québec with a spirited sense of adventure and a gentle heart. She was proud of her French-Canadian roots and carried her love of language throughout her life, speaking French with an ease and richness that made even ordinary conversations feel meaningful. Friends and family often said she had a calming presence—steady, thoughtful, and quietly funny.
Élise shared a beautiful life with her devoted husband, Marc-André Bouchard, with whom she built a home full of laughter, long conversations, and everyday joy. She was a loving and attentive mother to her two children, Camille Bouchard and Julien Bouchard, whom she supported with unwavering encouragement. Élise was the kind of mother who listened closely, celebrated small victories, and led by example—teaching her children to be curious, kind, and present.
A lover of the outdoors, Élise found happiness in being on the move and exploring new places. She loved to hike, ski, and spent as much time as she could outside. She also enjoyed a glass of wine and visiting wineries with Marc and her friends, often turning a simple outing into a memorable experience.
Élise was warm, genuine, and deeply thoughtful. She noticed the small details that made life special: a beautiful view, a well-set table, the pleasure of good company. She valued authenticity and connection, and she gave her time and love generously to those around her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Marc-André; her children, Camille and Julien; extended family, dear friends, and all who were fortunate enough to share a glass, a laugh, or a quiet moment with her.
A private celebration of Élise’s life will be held with family. In her memory, loved ones are encouraged to gather with friends, enjoy a good bottle of wine, and savor the moments that matter most.
May her memory be a blessing, and may she rest in peace.
