Gary was born on September 7, 1942 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Calvin and Betty (Cecil) Agin. He went to Circleville High School, Class of 1960, and received his Bachelor’s degree at Ohio University. Gary retired as a mechanical engineer at DuPont. He was a skilled woodworker and crafted many exceptional pieces of furniture and decorative wood boxes. He loved to travel and spent many years RVing across the USA. Gary was a family man who adored his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to support them.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his brother Ronny Keith Agin.
Gary is survived by his wife, Beverly Agin; his children, Kevin (Mindy) Agin, Katie (Shawn) McBride, Jason (Fatima) Agin; his grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Conor, Aidan, Elsa, Avery and Asher; brother Chris Agin; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 10:30am to 12:30pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio. Gary will be laid to rest at Forest Cemetery.
