Lois Rae Brown

Lois Rae Brown, age 89. of Circleville passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Lois was born in Cumberland, MD to the late James R. Murray Sr. and Violet Kathleen Rosalia (Pfeiffer) Murray. She retired from GTE (now Verizon) after 20 plus years of dedicated service. Lois was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Circleville. She enjoyed enjoyed playing euchre and bridge with her friends. She was an avid gardener and loved to spend time outdoors with her dog, Maggie and cat, Ben. Lois loved bird watching and she cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very lovable person and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, James R. Murray, II and granddaughter, Amber Rae Brown. Lois is survived by her children, Paula (Fiancé Bart Elsea) Cooper, Terry Brown, James Brown, and Kirk (Merrie) Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer (Darst) Long, Lindsey (Todd) Hutton, Chad Brown, Cory (Haley) Cooper, Cole Cooper, Nick Brown, Rachel Brown, Payton Brown, and Kayli (Max) Green; great-grandchildren, Brian, Hannah, Tate, Quinn, Kennedy, Charlie, Jack, and one more on the way; special friends, Margi Cooper, Signe Johnson, June Sparks, and Nancy Ranck; and many other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday February 25 from 1-4pm at the Pickaway Country Club, 1399 Stoutsville Pike, Circleville, OH 43113, with another Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Veterans of Foreign Wars - Post 3331, 1096 Tarlton Rd Circleville, OH 43113.
