She was born April 1, 1933, the daughter of Charles and Rosie (Nelson) Isaac.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Mitchell Lester; her son, Eugene “Gene” Garrett; her daughter-in-law, Donna Carter Garrett; her sisters, Goldie Lindsey (also born on April 1, 1923 – 10 years earlier) and Faye Moore; her brothers, John Isaac, Ray Isaac, Lincoln Isaac, and Charles Isaac Jr.
Martha is survived by her sister, Dolly Perkins; and her brother, Ralph Isaac; several nieces and nephews; her step-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 1:00pm at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger, 151 E. Main St, Circleville, Ohio with burial to follow at Forest Cemetery. Family will receive family and friends two hours prior to service from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
