Polly Jo Young

Born October 15, 1955, in Lancaster, Ohio, Polly was the devoted wife of Randy Young; the couple shared 49 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Marcie and Dustin Ford, son and daughter-in-law Hunter and Melinda Young, and her beloved grandchildren Abbie Ford, Maxwell Ford, Lily Young, Fisher Young, and Cooper Young. Polly is also survived by her siblings Greg Crist, Ruth (Ken) Tao, Tony (Valerie) Crist, and Amy (Scott) Ferrell. She was loved by her many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and special friends Marilyn, Carol and Linda.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elma and Dana Crist and brother Steven Crist.

Polly never knew a stranger and had a lifelong desire to help others. Together with her husband, she helped build a successful family business, cared tenderly for her children and grandchildren, and served her family, community, and church in countless ways. She loved Amy Grant, watching college basketball, and traveling with Randy. Her faith was central to her life; her favorite verse was, “Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4.

A family service will be observed. In memory of Polly, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
