Roger was born on February 27, 1941, in Pickaway County, Ohio to the late Marvin and Virginia (Poling) Hartranft. He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service for Twenty-Five years. Roger was preceded in death by his mother, father, and infant grandson.
Roger is survived by his partner of over forty years David Mack, his children, Dawn (David) Wamsley of Circleville, Scott (Amanda) Hartranft of Long Prairie, Minnesota, Marisa (Seyi) Mack-Adedire, of Columbus, and Lamont Jessie, of Groveport. Roger is also survived by 12 precious grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Roger is also survived by his siblings, Norman (Joan) Hartranft of Powell, Orman (Annette) Hartranft, Circleville, and Beverly Fout, Dayton.
