Allen Leo Thompson

Allen was born April 20, 1937 at Prophetstown, IL to Noble and Lola (Belden) Thompson.

He was a retired carpenter for Carpenter’s Local at Chicago, IL and a member of Brush Creek Community of Christ Church at Xenia, IL.

Allen is survived by one daughter Teresa Lynn Ware (& her husband Dale) of Bartlett, IL; one son Michael Thompson Yamag (& his wife Hitomi) of Yamaguchi-Ken, Japan; three sisters Gertrude (Sis) Patterson and Patricia Clark both of Flora, IL; Mary Clark (& her husband Don) of Salem, IL; and one brother Leroy Thompson (& his wife Paula) of Mt. Vernon, IL. One grandson Dustin also survives.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Funeral service for Allen Thompson will be 3PM Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, IL. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery. Friends may call from 2PM until the time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of your choice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
