Bruce Everett Pittman

Bruce was born July 22, 1953 at Flora, IL to Everett O. and Nina Jean (Robinson) Pittman. He was married to Sandra (Stevens) Gross.

Bruce was a Packaging Engineer at North American Lighting, having worked there for 32 years. He was a member of Flora County Club and First Christian Church at Flora. He enjoyed golfing, bike riding, his grandchildren’s ballgames, and spending time with family.

He is survived by one daughter Jocelyn Scoles of Flora, IL and one son Heath (Megan) Pittman of Effingham, IL; a brother Brian Pittman of Morton, IL; three grandchildren Eli Scoles, Hayden Pittman and Paige Pittman; two nephews, Rusty and Christopher Pittman, and a niece Alyssa Pittman, all of Morton, IL

Preceding him in death were one infant sister, his parents and his girlfriend Karen Halsey.

Funeral services will be 10AM Friday, September 4, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cisne Cemetery. The visitation will be 5-8PM Thursday, September 3, 2015, at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Pittman Family Reunion and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
