Dorothy G. Henderson

Dorothy was born January 26, 1915 in Geff, IL to Lafe and Cora (Fansler) Porter. She married Burrell H. Henderson on October 8, 1936 at Bellmont, IL and he preceded her in death March 22, 1999.

Dorothy was a homemaker, was a member of the Iola Methodist Church and attended Cisne Christian Church.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters Glenda (Larry) Wine of Norwalk, CT, Ellen (Ed) McManaway of Evansville, IN, and Vicki (George) Kerney of The Colony, TX; four sons, Don of Dallas, GA, Gene (Sheri) of Clarendon Hills, IL, Jerry (Bonnie) of Minneapolis, MN, and George (Kathy) of Lake Mills, IA; 20 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one infant daughter, one son James Lynn, two sisters Nellie and Gladys, one daughter-in-law Karen, and her parents.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne and burial will follow in Iola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am Saturday until time of service.

Memorials may be made to the Iola Cemetery Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
