Erma Belle Cunningham

Erma was born May 4, 1921 at Flora IL to Leroy and Ella (McCarty) McGrew. She married Harold Carl Cunningham December 24, 1937 at Flora, IL and he preceded her in death February 6, 2009.

Erma was a housewife and worked at Four Sisters Manufacturing at Flora, IL, International Shoe Co of Flora, and she was a waitress at area restaurants. She was also a member of Christian Temple Church at Rinard, IL, attended the Willlow Branch Church at Rinard, the McCabe Church & the First Church of God both at Flora, IL.and had been a 4-H leader for 15 years. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and camping.

Erma is survived by her loving family of one daughter Nancy Lee Cornwell of Flora, IL; four sons Frank J. Cunningham of Brandon, FL; Jim F. Cunningham (& his wife Judy) of Corona, CA; John R. Cunningham of Bossier City, LA and Joe E. Cunningham (& his wife Dorothy) of Breese, IL; 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were: 1 step grandson-Tim Carrell, 2 great great grandchildren, her husband & her parents.

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the Hosselton Funeral Home at Cisne, IL with burial to follow in the Willow Branch Cemetery at Rinard, IL.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:30 -9 PM.

Memorials may be given to the Donors’ choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
