Joy E. Berry Hobbs

Joy E. Hobbs age 77 of Fairfield, Illinois passed from this life 11:30 PM Thursday September 8th, 2011 at Fairfield, Illinois. Joy was born September 21, 1933 in Cisne, Illinois the daughter of Ned and Jane (Squire) Berry. She married Bobby J. "Bob" Hobbs September 19, 1955 in Cisne, Illinois. He preceded her in death September 25, 1984. She was a member of the North Side Baptist Church in Fairfield, Illinois. She formerly was Fairfield City Clerk and a former employee of CSI Insurance of Fairfield, Illinois before retiring. Joy is survived by her daughter Sherri (Richard) Gray of Fairfield, Illinois, a Brother Jim (Kathy) Berry of Cambridge, OH, 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 brother Bill. Funeral services for Joy E. Hobbs will be 2:00PM Sunday September 11th, 2001 at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, Illinois. Burial will be in the Cisne Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00PM till service time at the funeral home.
