She was born at home on September 18, 1944 to Carl and Lillie Edwards.
Faye is survived by her loving husband, Donnie Wilson; Children, Lora (Victor) Stephenson and Don (Julie) Hussey; sisters, Frances (Jerry) Honeycutt and Rachel (D.W.) Gibbs; Grandchildren, Corey (Cecelia) Stephenson, Jerry Hussey and Joshua Hussey; Great-Grandchildren, Brycen and Caleb.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, C. Dalma (Monkey) Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the ASPCA.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC. Funeral service and interment will follow at 2pm.
