Betsy (Bourgault) Bullard, of Meadowlark Court, Clayton, died suddenly Sunday morning. She was born in Ware, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth Bourgault, on February 23, 1963.
Betsy graduated from Wilkes Barre College in Pa, specializing in piano and vocal performance. She was also certified as a paralegal and worked in a law firm in Boston and in Raleigh. She was the teacher and owner of Bullard Music Studio as well as the director of Music at Grace Fellowship Church. She also taught preschool music at First Baptist Church. She had a passion for fostering cats, bird watching and needlework.
She leaves her sister, Beverly Copeland, of Raleigh; a brother, Jordan Bourgault and his wife, Connie and children, Angela, Daniel, and Robert of Slidell, LA; her husband, Terry Bullard, from Lumberton, NC; step-sons Chris and Daniel and their wives, Ashley and Lisa, their children, Kamryn and Avery; brothers- in- law and sisters-in-law, Tony and Angela Bullard, Jimmy and Antoinette Bullard, both families from Pembroke, NC.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to you local animal shelter. Visitation will be at the Bullard home in Clayton, on Friday, evening September 26th from 4:00 to 8:00p.m. The memorial service will be at Grace Fellowship Church, 97-104 Anna Drive, Clayton, on Saturday, September 27, at 4:00 p.m.
