I remember Brent fondly as someone with a ready smile and laugh. He was always ready to share his knowledge on a wide variety of topics, whether that be Linux or how to craft a home brew. I pray that his family and friends find comfort in joyful memories of Brent.

My condolences to Brian's family. I knew him as very kind person, who cared for family and valued friends. Brent was a talented engineer and eager to help, always. I miss him.

My heartfelt condolences to the Brian family. Brent was one of my first colleagues to befriend me when I joined Elster in 2006 and we had many great discussions about a variety of topics over the ensuing fifteen years. I feel especially lucky to have collaborated with him in depth on a couple of engineering projects that that expanded both of our understanding while providing great benefit to the company. I hope he appreciated that as much as I did. Brent was always gracious and even tempered with me, even when our opinions veered in different directions, and he was always willing to help solve a problem, contributing in any way he could. I will miss this talented engineer and his always pleasant personality.

I am so very sorry for your loss Aunt Martha, Lee, and Kay. Many hugs and loving thoughts to you and all of your family from miles away.

Uncle Brent,
You were always there for me and my siblings growing up. Many of my fondest memories are due to your presence in my life. Even though we sort of lost touch over the years, you were thought of often. You had a lifelong impact on me as a person, especially on my sense of humor. You were always able to make anyone laugh in a room, no matter what was going on at the time. I have remembered and kept the laughter going in my own life, which has definitely gotten me through some difficult times. Uncle Brent, please just know how very much you meant to me, and to so many. Tell Grandpa hi for me, and keep the laughs going until I can join in. Until then, I will carry on living and doing my best to be more like you each day...and every time a story is told, a smile is made, and a laugh is heard, you will be thought of with much love.

I am so sorry to hear this. I remember talking to Brent about SO many topics. He was a very inclusive and humble person that treated everyone with respect. 

I hope to model his open mind and pioneering spirit. I always admired him. 

I mostly remember his passions for Linux and Family history.

My sincere condolences to the Brian family. I worked with Brent at Elster/Honeywell from 2009 until his departure in 2021.  He was always quick to offer assistance and to help me solve the problems I was working on.  He also always had some kind of story to tell and was sure to leave a smile on your face.  He will be missed.
