Carmine Salvatore Butera

He is survived by the love of his life, wife, Kimberly Butera; daughters, Nicole Parmelee and husband George, Danielle Bifulco and husband Craig; sister, Arlene Minerva and husband Bill, mother-in-law, Shirley Lawrence and her husband Jerry; sisters-in-law, Mary Butera, Debbie Woods and husband John; brother-in-law, Danny Haskell; stepchildren, Tammy, Karen, Sharon and Johnny; grandchildren, Delilah Parmelee and Sean Parmelee; seven step grandchildren; Also, many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rosario and Teresa Butera; and a brother, Victor Butera. Born in Brooklyn, NY Carmine was raised on Long Island and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion Post 71 in Clayton and will be remember for his larger than life presence when he entered a room and his love for life.
