You was the first person i met in California we road in on the plane together you was always one of the nicest people to me and helped me through so much at laguna you will be missed and remembered 

We are all saddened by the loss of Cheryl. Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Andrew and  the kids. We also want to express our deepest sympathy to all her friends, family and co-workers. 

Cheryl was one of my Paramedic preceptors, I always enjoyed riding with her and learned a lot each shift. She cared about each patient and always brought joy to her Co-workers. 

Cheryl was one of my first preceptors in Paramedic school. I was blessed to learn from her and to later become an EMS colleague and friend. She is beautiful inside and out and I will always remember your smile and laugh...especially when we were making fun of Tony! Your children have a guardian angel in heaven and I know you will be proud of all their accomplishments. Love you and miss you!

Cheryl was the very first Paramedic we ever knew. She was so welcoming, kind hearted, compassionate, and outgoing. She was a great partner in EMS, Friend, and Mentor. Sean and I feel so lucky to have known such a wonderful person. We will miss her greatly.  Cheryl you will always be with us and in our hearts! 

Always In Our Hearts

A beautiful, kind, caring, loving heart... this is, and will always be Cheryl. To give so selflessly, to always put others first, to risk her own life to save others, this is the kind of person we all strive to be... this is the person Cheryl was. A heart of gold, who, on the day of her passing, stopped on the side of the road and reached down into a car engine to rescue a tiny kitten which had almost been run over by several cars. She brought the kitten to us while she was still covered in grease and oil, a huge smile on her face. Her mom is allergic to cats, so she suggested bringing it to us, because she knew we would take really good care of it. Cheryl named the kitten Chance, because she said it had gotten a second "chance." Cheryl is a special, loving heart that didn't get a second chance, but it is only because she has a greater purpose somewhere else.
Dear Cheryl, there are so many hearts breaking because of losing you, your beautiful smile, and your bright light. You will live forever through the hearts and minds of every life you have touched. We pray you are with God and being rewarded with eternal happiness for all of your selflessness here.

Dearest Andy and family, Please except our deepest condolences for such a profound loss.  No words can describe our sadness for Cheryl's passing. She was loved and respected by all, she always had time to listen with genuine concern and offer advise and friendship to those who needed it.  Although we havent seen her  recently she will be always be spoken of with fond and loving memories.

Cheryl was a lovely woman, a great person and coworker. I'll always have fond memories of our time together at Knightdale & Eastern Wake EMS.

Cheryl was an incredible woman. She was kind hearted and always there for those who needed her. She became a friend to me a along time ago and was there to give me the advice/push I needed to get further in life. She will be missed greatly, but I just know she is going to continue watching over us all from heaven the way she did from earth.

I am so very sorry about Cheryl. I wish I knew what I could do or say  to help ease your pain and offer you some  peace. 

When you think of what a mom, mother, mama is-you think of Cheryl. She was the very definition of it. An unconditional love giver, a caregiver, one who is always there to ensure her babies were safe, healthy and happy. She loved her children with all of her heart.

It is obvious Cheryl was a servant as well. She helped others in their most vulnerable times as a nurse and EMT. She was a giver and someone who cared.

When I think of Cheryl, I see her smiling face. I think of her honesty and her perseverance. I think of a lady who was open and stood up for the right things. Those qualities will live on through Evan, Alanna and Colby.

Cheryl impressed us neighbors at the Willowbrook pool as a kind, loving and devoted Mom who had adorable and well raised children! Our condolences to all of you who loved her. May your broken hearts find a way to recover from this tragedy.

Cheryl was my first FTO, partner and friend at AMR many years ago. At the time, Evan was her only child in which she was always talking about. Cheryl was a fun, energetic person with a serious love for coffee. She was an amazing person with the sweetest spirit and funniest wit. She always kept something going ending in laughs, we stayed in trouble. The world lost a jewel. Fly high my friend!! Paradise is yours. I offer my condolences and love to your family at this time.

My condolences, I was Cheryl’s team leader at Rex CCT. She was kind and sweet, spoke of all her children with such fondness. It was a pleasure to work with her.
