David Daniel Pilkington Jr., age 69, of Clayton, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024. David was born in Johnston County on October 11, 1954 to the late David D. and Johnnie Crowder Pilkington. He is survived by his brother, Johnny Pilkington and his wife, Jill of Clayton; and his loving dog, Gracie.
A visitation for David will be held Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at McLaurin Funeral Home, Clayton, NC and at other times at the home of his brother. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. An interment will follow the services at Maplewood Cemetery, Highway 70, Clayton.
