Deborah was born October 24, 1954, in Loris, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Erskin and Bertha Strickland.
She is survived by two children, Benjamin Haynes, Jr. (Sheila), Randy Grainger, Jr. (Cory); and brother Rossie Strickland (Vickie); 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and great/great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Kessinger, sister, Mary "Bonnie" Ward, and nephew, Joey Watts.
Visitation will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, North Carolina on Monday, February 10, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery in Green Sea, South Carolina.
