DORIS DUNN BARBER October 12, 1937 – June 13, 2014 Clayton – Doris Dunn Barber, age 76, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the Reverend Randy Beasley officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. She was a native of Johnston County and the daughter of the late David Dunn and the late Ida McLamb Dunn. Mrs. Barber was retired from K-Mart with 25 years of service. She was a loving mother, sister, and mema. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barber; and a sister, Eloise Hall. She is survived by a daughter, Tammy Morgan; son Travis Morgan and his fiancée Toni Turner; four granddaughters, Holly Barnette, Jesse Morgan, Lillyanna Morgan and Mackenize Morgan; one sister, Louise Lee; three brothers, Wade Dunn, Junior Dunn and Lynwood Dunn; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 17, 2014 prior to the service at the funeral home, and at other times at her residence, 12426 Buffalo Road, Clayton, NC.
