Glenda Casey

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Casey Family Cemetery on Casey Road in Clayton, North Carolina with Elder Craig Olive officiating. There will be no formal visitation, however her body will lie-in-state from 12 noon until 5:00 pm Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at McLaurin Funeral Home.

She was born in Canton, Kansas on November 10, 1932 to the late Jim Standerfer and the late Bessie Hensley Standerfer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ray Casey.

She had worked for several years at Champion Products and enjoyed quilting, cooking and spending time with her family. She loved the beach and enjoyed creating projects using her collection of sea shells. She will be missed more than she will ever know.

She is survived by her three children, Porter Casey and his wife Jackie, Angela (Casey) House and her husband Ray, Paul L. Casey and his wife Michelle; her grandchildren, Porter Casey Jr and his wife Timpla, Michael R. House and his wife Felicia, Patrick House, Paul L. Casey II and Bryan Casey; great grandchildren, Lawson Casey, Marley Casey, Dillon Casey, Aiden Casey, Emelyn Casey and Owen House.
