Jane Yvonne Petit Green

Jane Yvonne Petit Green, 79, the daughter of the late Luther and Mary Beddingfield Petit, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015. Funeral service will be held 11:00 Wednesday at Everett Chapel Church with entombment to follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mrs. Green was a member of Everett Chapel Church, the Ladies Auxiliary, Women’s Prayer Group, choir member, previous choir director and a Sunday school teacher. She retired from Nationwide Insurance. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Green, granddaughter, Shanon Johnson and a grandson, Christopher Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Roamie Green, sons, Jimmy Green and wife Dianne of Knightdale, Ricky Green and wife Gwen of Benson, daughter, Susan Lorek and husband Joe of Raleigh, sisters, Janette Higley of Plymouth, Wisconsin and Marie Cardinelle of Clayton, brothers, Charlie Petit and Larry Petit both of Clayton and W. M. Petit of Angier, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Everett Chapel Church, 307 Everett Avenue, Clayton, NC 27520 or to the SECU Hospice House, PO Box 1376, Smithfield, NC 27577.
