Janet Josephine Jenkins Joseph

Janet Josephine Joseph was born in St. John Antigua and Barbuda on January 15, 1937. After leaving Antigua, Janet lived in St. Croix for several years before settling in Boston, MA where she raised her children.

Janet worked as an anesthesia technician for Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA for many years until her retirement. She was also a faithful member at the Church of God of Prophecy in Boston, MA. When Janet was no longer able to attend church services, she worshipped daily at home reading scriptures, singing hymns and watching Jimmy Swaggart.

Janet Josephine Joseph is survived by her children, Karen Mason, Terrence Joseph and spouse Shanna Joseph, Marsha Joseph and Jason Joseph, Sr. and spouse Carleshia Joseph. Janet is also survived by her siblings, Malcolm Jenkins, Sandra Knowles, David Knowles and Hyacinth Knowles.

Visitation will be 11:30am Saturday June 8, 2019 at McLaurin Funeral Home 12830 US-70 Bus. Hwy. W. Clayton, NC 27520. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Colin C. Powell of Church of God of Prophecy in Boston, MA, will begin immediately following at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Arrangements are by McLaurin Funeral Home.
