Jason was born on August 5, 1982, in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Joseph and Cheryl Bryant. He grew up in Tempe, Arizona where he attended Corona del Sol High School and graduated in 2000. He met his wife, Crystal in 2002, and they were married on October 9, 2004. Jason and Crystal spent over 5 years in Dresden, Maine where he worked at Tyler Technologies, Falmouth, Maine and served the community as a volunteer firefighter at Dresden Fire Department. Jason was most happy when he was serving others and spending time with his wife and two daughters, Victoria and Dani. Upon relocating to North Carolina, Jason served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT at Archer Lodge Fire Department while working at RedHat and most recently Cohesity.
Jason was a devout Christian who described himself as “Christian, Father, Husband, Friend.” He was a member of The Church @ Clayton Crossings. Jason enjoyed spending time in nature where he felt closest to God. He loved fishing, hunting, hiking, video games, and helping his neighbors. He could be seen driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle making charity runs in the Clayton area. Jason’s friends and family appreciated his fun-loving sense of humor, joyful spirit, and love of life. His legacy will live on with his example of living “the fruits of the spirit.”
