Joe was born on November 22, 1963, in New Jersey. He grew up in Raleigh, NC and carried his love for people, music, and conversation throughout his life. Joe worked for Dairy Queen as a business consultant, where he built many friendships and connections through his work and outgoing personality.
Joe had a deep love for music, especially the songs of Jimmy Buffett, and he rarely missed an opportunity to attend a concert or grab a microphone for karaoke. His favorite movie was The Crow, a film he could talk about for hours. Joe also enjoyed playing cornhole with his Las Vegas Raiders bags, spending time laughing and competing with family and friends.
Known for being a great conversationalist, Joe had an incredible knowledge of life and loved sharing stories, ideas, and laughter with anyone who would listen. His warm personality, great smile, and infectious laugh made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie Cramer and Joseph Ward Cramer Sr., and his nephew, Ronald Kilgore Mills Jr.
He leaves behind many who loved him dearly, including his son, Josh Cramer and Josh's girlfriend, Skye; his sister, Diane Mills and her husband, Ronald Kilgore Mills Sr.; his loving niece and best friend, Julie Anne Galloway and her husband, Robert Galloway; his niece, Amy Mills Staton and her husband, William Staton. Joe also leaves behind his beloved Shih Tzu dogs, Gracie Anne Galloway and Dexter Ronnie Galloway, who he affectionately called his niece and nephew.
Joe will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved him. His family and friends will forever remember his humor, kindness, wisdom, and the joy he brought to every room he entered.
We love you, Joe, and your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
