My first grocery shopping experience with you and your brothers. You were at the front of the cart pushing to the left and to the right almost tipping us over. You looked at me smiled and then started to grab things off the shelves! I looked for your mother and could not find her so you continued to grab things and pushing right and left!  But yet you smiled and laughed at me. Lol! 

Kaden was in Zoe's kindergarten and first grade class. I did reading groups with him once a week and I'll never forget how he would make me laugh. He was so charming and sweet. Tonight upon learning this news my heart was crushed thinking of the great loss of this precious little boy and the grief his family must be feeling. Sandoval family, you are in my prayers and on my heart. I'm so very very sorry. My heart aches for you. 

Zoe and Eli are so sad and asked to pray for your family as soon as we learned this tonight. Eli sends his love to Caleb. 

You were such a giggly, sweet boy! I loved how you loved Luke calling you “Skillet”. You are so loved and will be missed, sweet boy. 

We were luck enough to have met you through football and soon we became great friends. We have very happy memories of spending holidays and birthday parties with you and how you were so silly and full of imagination. Jonah  has happy memories of playing football with you and silly fart jokes and Kailey's favorite memory of you was staying the night and watching Trolls World Tour and you and her doing a lip singing battle against Jonah and Connor. You will be missed greatly buddy but forever be in our hearts until we meet again.  

We remember all the pool days and parties at GG’s house, and vacations. You were always making everyone laugh. So happy we got to say goodbye to you. Wear “cousin” Erik’s bracelet in heaven. He will find you!!  Show him your dance moves,  he will laugh like crazy. Love you buddy. We will miss you!!

I did not know Kaden, but I did hear his name mentioned on the post game Steelers broadcast this evening. I am sorry to hear about his loss. He will always be a part of the Steeler Nation.

I will never forget my son telling me that he met this really nice kid in class and that they were best friends… later we ran into this kiddo and his family at our neighborhood park- and the rest is history- Kindergarten to 3rd grade my kiddo and Kaden were best friends… I will always remember the all the sleepless sleep overs that Liam would have with Kaden and his brothers. Kaden going to parks with us, going to church with us one Sunday, and  ALWAYS the first thing Kaden would do when he came to our house was change my letter board to say something silly- usually about farts or poop! Lol I even tracked Kadens height along side Liams….every time I walk past it, I am reminded of how sweet, kind, stubborn, passionate, silly, funny, loving… tough on the outside but a softy on the inside and how he brought SOOO much joy to everyone around him! We love you Kaden and you will be missed terribly!!! Love you Sandoval Family!!!

Kayla and I met you at your fundraiser, You were by far the coolest ghostbuster there.  We got to watch you walk the 5k and it was a blast watching you stop and read all the messages to and for you. I have seen first hand the joy and love you bring to your Grandpa and Dad when they talk about you. 

One of my favorite memories was at your birthday, you were maybe 4 or 5... we gave you your gift bag. You started ripping out the tissue paper all over the floor, tossed the gift aside and grabbed the card. Your eyes lit up and "You got me MAAIILLL!!! YESS!!" And you ran to the couch to open your 'mail'. Haha You were so excited!  The silly little things that made you happy.. Makes me laugh every time i think of it. 

Seeing your sweet little face swimming with your cousins at GG’s pool and also running around with the family at all our holiday parties 💞 You will be dearly missed sweet angel! We love you 😘

My son’s favorite memories of Kaden are playing at recess and playing soccer with him in second grade… Carefree, fun, sun on face, wind in hair, smile from ear to ear type of memories. 💜

We recently came into your lives, but are thankful to have known Kaden and your family. We are thinking of you guys and are sending our love and prayers.

We were so fortunate that the Sandovals came in to our lives. We loved spending time with this beautiful family. We pray that they are strengthened by the love of all who know them. 

I want to send my deepest condolences to Natalie, Jerry and the kids. I never had the honor of meeting sweet Kaden, but I have the privilege of knowing and serving in the military with his beautiful and strong mother. I am a mother myself and my heart is shattered for the entire Sandoval family. I pray for peace and comfort during this time, and hope we can all take solace, knowing that Kaden is no longer in pain and resting in the arms of the Lord until he is with his family again! 

Heaven has gained an angel. I met him as a baby and he was sweet and adventurous. Remember that as long as you carry him in your heart and mind he will always be with you❤️❤️❤️

I’m so thankful I was able to be your babysitter. I’ll miss you buddy. 

We are so sorry for the loss of Kaden . He is loved by many .  Many prayers for Natalie , Jerry and your family our hearts hurt with you.  Rest easy now Kaden your pain is over . 

Diego came from Iowa in 2019 and was afraid of the change, he was afraid of not having friends. Kayden was his first friend in first grade, he opened his arms and smile to Diego so Diego felt comforted and safe.

Thanks to Kayden for marking that part of Diego’s life and ensuring that friendship is forever.



Being around Kaden meant being guaranteed a smile on your face. The silliest little boy with the absolute best jokes. Kaden will always be in our hearts and we were so lucky to have him in our lives. All of our love - The Gonzalez Family
