Lorraine Marie Barth Merrill

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Charles Barth and the late Mary (Dillon) Barth. She was predeceased by her late husband, Richard Merrill with whom she spent 22 wonderful years in Marshfield and Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Merrill was a retired administrator with the FBI, and also worked for Market Basket for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Kainoa and Elin attending sporting events and dance recitals. She played such an important role in their lives and left them with beautiful memories that will always stay with them. She was also an avid fan of bingo, Volkswagen Beetles, and her grand-dogs Tyson, Lulu and Kale of whom she loved very much. In her most recent years, she developed wonderful friendships with the women in her neighborhood, with whom she enjoyed spending time.

She is survived by her children, Brian and his wife Danielle Harer of Holbrook, MA, Stephen and his wife Carolyn Harer of Wenham, MA and Heidi and her husband Ben You of Clayton, NC. She was the grandmother of Colin and Kylie Harer, Dillon and Teagan Harer, and Kainoa and Elin You. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Doreen Davis, Richard Merrill Jr., Diane Merrill and Robert Merrill along with their families.
