

A funeral service to celebrate Lynn’s life will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina where she was an active member. Michael Tolar will officiate, and the burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until 12 noon at the church prior to the service.
Lynn was born in Nash County on April 20, 1955, to Marjorie Arrington Coggin and the late Truxton Coggin. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by Richard Earp.
Lynn loved God, her family, and friends faithfully. She sang in the church choir, Mount Moriah Singers, played handbells, was assistant Sunday School director, Circle member, vacation Bible School leader, and more. Lynn worked for Carolina Builders for 43 years. She loved spending time with her family and was called Grammy by many. She loved the beach, playing games, and participating in all family events. She was always there when you needed her. Lynn will be truly missed but will always be with us.
In addition to her mother, Lynn is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Williams, and Anita St. John (Nick); grandchildren, Mason Williams, Reese Williams, Riley St. John, Kevin Strickland (Ruby), Brandon Strickland, Cody Strickland (Maria), and great grandchildren TW, Elijah, Malichi, Josiah, and Grace; sister, Diane Earp; brother, Randy Coggin (Pam), beloved aunt, Linda Evans, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
