Montgomery Alfred “Monty” Rose gained his angel wings for heaven on December 27th, 2019 at UNC Children’s Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
Monty was truly one of a kind who loved John Deere tractors, Star Wars, Marvel superheroes, Disney, Christmas, ice, Home Depot, and baking. He was happiest at home working at his tool bench with dad or Papa or baking with mommy, and surrounded by his favorite people.
He was preceded in death by Toothless, his precious bearded dragon.
He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Janette, his siblings, Zachary, Savannah, and Mariah, and grandparents, Norman and Gwen Rose, and Florence Cohen, and a host of loving family and friends.
A Gathering of Remembrance to celebrate his life and impact will be held, Sunday, January 5th, 2020 from 1-3pm at Gateway Center, 501 Yates Dr, Clayton, NC 27520. The family request those that choose to attend wear casual clothes that reflect Monty’s joy and happiness (John Deere or Star Wars apparel suggested).
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks for donations in Monty’s memory to Give Kids the World Village, Orlando, Fl at www.gktw.org.
