In Loving Memory of Noelle Elizabeth Franklin
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our precious Noelle Elizabeth Franklin, who left us far too soon at the age of seven on May 12, 2025. Noelle was born on August 28, 2017, and in her short time with us, she filled our lives with love, laughter, and joy.
Noelle had a vibrant spirit that shone brightly in everything she did. She loved to sing and dance, always putting on a show for her family with her beautiful voice and lively moves. Whether she was swimming in the pool, perfecting her nails, or experimenting with makeup, Noelle embraced every moment with passion and a sense of fun. She was a true sassy diva, always full of confidence and never afraid to be herself. Noelle was an active member of First Baptist Church of Clayton, where she was a part of the children’s ministry.
Noelle’s infectious laughter and playful attitude brought light to every room she entered. She was a constant reminder to everyone around her to live life with joy, curiosity, and a little bit of sass. Her sparkling personality and radiant smile will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Noelle is survived by her loving parents, Dylan and Toni Franklin, her beloved brother, Christian Franklin, her grandparents Robert and Gina Oudinot and Brian Franklin and Sharon Annas, her Aunt Tia and Uncle Mark and her cousins Addison, Emery, Cooper, and Charlie, and extended family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A celebration of Noelle’s beautiful life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17 at First Baptist Church Clayton. To honor Noelle’s vibrant spirit, the family asks that those attending please not wear black but wear bright colors as that is what Noelle loved most.
The Franklins have established a Pediatric Oncology Fund in Noelle’s name at the UNC Health Foundation. The family asks that donations be made to the fund in lieu of flowers. Gifts can be made online (https://give.unc.edu/tribute/nefrank) or by check made payable to “UNC Health Foundation” with “Noelle Franklin” on the memo line and mailed to UNC Health Foundation, 123 West Franklin Street, Suite 510, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
Though she was with us for only a short time, Noelle’s love, laughter, and light will forever remain in our hearts.
