Phyllis Sealey Gonzales

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM September 20, 2025, in the sanctuary of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 5217 Barber Mill Road, Clayton North Carolina with Pastor Darrell Sauls officiating. She was born in Johnston County on February 9, 1951 to the late Hugh Sealey and the late Annie Belle Turner Sealey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first born son, Jason Hugh West, and three brothers, Hugh Sealey, Jr., Lesley Howard Sealey, and Graham Sealey.

Phyllis was a retired CNA, & Phlebotomist and enjoyed spending time with all her family, and taking trips to the beach. She always had a passion with animals as she had many precious dogs and birds.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Gonzales and wife Lauren Gonzales; grandchildren, Eliana Rae Gonzales, and Daxton Hugh Gonzales; brothers and sisters, Lou Horton, Janice Moon, Becky Watkins, Patrica Jones, Joe Sealey, and Pete Sealey.
