Richard Mervin Coman, age 77, passed away peacefully at home, Saturday, July 5, 2014. He was born June 23, 1937 in Miami, FL to the late William Richard and Kathryn Florence Stoner Coman. Richard was a Bible Believing Soul Winner that retired as Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Morrisville, NC. While he was serving at Calvary, Richard also worked more than 30 years at IBM befored retiring. He was a proud US Navy Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2014 in the McLaurin Funeral Home Chapel, 12830 US HWY 70 Business West, Clayton, NC 27520. Private interment will be at a later date.
He is survived by four daughters; two sons; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one brother.
