Richard McLain Ray, 82, passed on May 16, 2026. He was born on February 9, 1944, in North Carolina, and was a resident of New Bern, North Carolina.

Visitation will be held at McLaurin Funeral Home, 12830 Clayton Boulevard, Clayton, North Carolina, on May 20, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel

Entombment will take place at Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum, following.
