

Richard Leigh Rinehart, Airman First Class, US Air Force and Vietnam Veteran, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022 at the age of 70. Richard was born in Columbus, OH to Martha McBurney Rinehart and the late Dean Rinehart on May 15, 1952 and was the owner of Music King, an entertainment production company specializing in corporate events, New Year's Eve parties, many other large events while also focusing on Bar/Bat mitzvahs. Upon retiring he was a substitute teacher and a wedding photography.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, he received a double Master’s Degree in Finance and Marketing. He loved music, watching and playing sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Notre Dame, Duke and the Boston Celtics. In addition, he enjoyed the outdoors, his annual fishing trip in Canada with his pap, brothers and friends, studying the Bible and the Jewish faith, watching action movies, taking walks, his dogs, traveling and enjoying life but most of all, having fun!
In addition to his mother, Martha, Richard is also survived by his wife, Reba Rinehart; step-children, John Gaddis and Giovanna Gaddis; brothers, Dean Bradley Rinehart and Kerry Rinehart; sister, Nancy Draime; two nieces, a nephew and many cousins.
A memorial service celebrating Richard’s life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 3:00pm in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton. While flowers are accepted, memorial contributions may also be made to Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 (www.act.alz.org)
