Ronnie Lee Hagwood, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. Ron was born on September 28, 1944, in Wake Co. to the late Rocher and Lorene Strum Hagwood. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Thompson Hagwood; stepdaughter, Kelly C. Muller and her husband, William of Cornelius; sister, Carol H. Taylor and her husband, Danny of Clayton; step children, David Thompson, Cathy T. Kirby and her husband, Steve; step grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Charlotte Thompson, Alex Batchelor and her husband, Andy Bolin, David Batchelor, Dalton Kirby and fiancée, Adriana Thompson, Steven Kirby and wife, Crystal and Chris Kirby; one great grandchild, Bowen Kirby. In addition to his parents, Ron is also preceded in death by his first wife, Mary C. Hagwood and a stepdaughter, Angela Lynn Thompson.
