Sandra Lee Raines, 58, of Clayton passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 29, 2014. A native of Miami, FL, Sandi was born May 13, 1956 to the late Ralph Edward and Jewel Dean Downing Nichols. She loved to spend time with her family, especially the grandchildren. They were the light of her life and she would find a way to bring them up in any conversation. She would spend hours with them, teaching them to make jewelry. She always put everyone else first. When she did have time for herself, she loved to ride Harley Motorcycles with her husband Jimmy.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Selma Original FWB Church, 600 N. Pollock St., Selma, NC 27576. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45am at the Church.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Jimmy Gray Raines; daughter, Misty Sox; brothers, Ralph and Dean Nichols; stepdaughter, Christy Davis; stepson, Billy Raines; and her grandchildren, Wyatt Sox, Willow Sox, Cierra Davis, Gracie Davis, Katlyn Raines, and Emily Raines.
