Sara Wanda Johnson

Sara Wanda Johnson, daughter of the late Milton and Pearl Johnson passed away on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the age of 78. A retired school teacher, Ms. Johnson was born in Wayne Co. on May 16, 1942. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at 2:00pm at Marsh Swamp FWB Church (6664 Rock Ridge School Rd. Sims, NC). Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Casey and her husband, Ronald; grandchildren, Samantha M. Stevens, Tabatha Mozingo, Randy Casey and wife, Jessica, Ryan Casey and wife, Alesha; great grandchildren, Mariah Mozingo, Dylan Mozingo, Ashlynn Stevens, Patrick Harvey, Liam Casey, Luke Casey, Brendan Casey and Tegan Casey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home 7907 Buck Deans Rd, Middlesex, NC 27557 or to the University of Mount Olive 634 Henderson St, Mt Olive, NC 28365
