Stephen was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He enjoyed going to church, planting gardens, traveling, and making others laugh. He believed in living life to the fullest and having the best of the best.
Surviving to cherish his memories are his wife, Marcia L. Smith of Florence, South Carolina, and
his loving daughters, Faith Buchanan and husband, Philip, Annie Smith; sons, Steven James and Wendell Smith; grandchildren, sister, Betty Smith of New York; brother, Sam Smith of Pamplico, SC, and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Stephen is also preceded in death by his
daughter, Dolores Jurdan Brown.
