Toni Robinson Lee, 74, of Clayton, North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Born on July 3, 1951, in High Point, North Carolina, Toni lived a life full of love, laughter, faith, and deep devotion to her family.
Toni built a career grounded in service, dedication, and heart. She began her professional journey as a bank teller before choosing to devote several years to raising her family as a stay-at-home mom. When she returned to the workforce, she worked in the business office at her church. She later continued her career in corporate operations, where she contributed in training operations before transitioning into order operations. Through her strong work ethic and natural leadership, she advanced to become Manager of Order Operations, a role she held until her retirement. She was deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of working with her and was known as a patient and supportive leader who fiercely advocated for her team.
Toni was energetic, witty, and full of life, with a sharp sense of humor and a sarcasm that those closest to her knew and loved. She was almost always smiling or laughing, bringing joy and lightness to every room she entered. Thoughtful and generous, she was always eager to do for others and made people feel seen, valued, and cared for. She was someone everyone loved to be around and someone who left a lasting impression on all who met her.
A woman of deep faith, Toni was an active member of Amelia Christian Church in Clayton. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially time spent at the beach, playing pool, fishing, shopping, and going all out decorating for every holiday. Playing pool was a big part of her later years, and she enjoyed participating in multiple leagues and tournaments, where she built lasting friendships and created many joyful memories. She especially loved being with family during these moments and, above all, cherished her role as “Nana.” She loved being a mother and grandmother more than anything, and when she was with her children and grandchildren, they had her full attention. They were her greatest joy, and she would do anything for them.
Toni was preceded in death by her father, Dewy Robinson; her mother, Billie Robinson; and her brother, Keith Robinson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steve Lee; her son, Scot Kirby; her daughter, Lauren Speakman; and her daughter, Leslie Allen and her husband, Jason Allen. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life. Her family resides in Clayton and Mooresville, North Carolina.
Toni will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering love for her family, and the kindness and joy she brought to everyone around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the lives she touched.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Amelia Christian Church in Clayton. The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm, at the church, prior to the service.
