William Daniel Hollyfield

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home in Clayton, North Carolina with Pastor Billy Cashwell officiating. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Daniel was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on June 14, 1974 to Goldie Ball Hollyfield and the late Charles Hollyfield. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Hollyfield.

He was employed as a plumber, was an avid outdoorsmen, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a huge heart and cared deeply about the people he loved. Daniel had a great sense of humor and was always able to bring a smile to the faces of the people around him. When he loved, he loved hard and gave the warmest hugs that filled you with joy. Daniel’s joy was infectious and he lit up the world around him. He will be profoundly missed and never forgotten by all of his friends and family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Krista Belvin Hollyfield; his son, Garrett Hollyfield; brothers and sisters, Donna Byrd, Melinda Hollyfield, Rose Stallings and husband Gary, Jennifer Hollyfield, Chuck Hollyfield and wife Jennifer ; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Danny Belvin; and sister and brother in-law Cindi Green and husband Scott and Daniel Belvin and wife Angie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; Makayla, Dalton, Hunter, Chad,Tiffany, Matthew, Joseph, Ethan, Taylor and Daniel.
