

It is with great sadness that the family of William John Perkins (Pepe) announce that on May 09, 2025, he passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his precious family after a long courageous battle with Cancer. His faith carried him through many trials.
William is survived by his loving wife Kathleen Marsh Perkins, who he spent 27 beautiful years with.
He is also survived by his son Shawn Perkins (Heather Perkins) of Lyndonville Vt, his daughters, Aimee Francis (Rick Francis) of Essex Junction VT, Naomi Gallagher of Lyndonville, VT, Chantelle Blackburn (Kirby Blackburn) of Lyndonville, VT. His Stepsons, Jeffrey Marsh of Concord, NH, Jonathan Marsh of Smithfield, NC, and Jared Marsh (Carly Marsh) of Hinsdale, NH. Sister Sandy Carvell (Daryl Carvell) of Enfield, NH, brother Michael Perkins (Lea Perkins) of Floral City, FL. Brother-in-law James R. McDougall Jr of Woodbridge, CT, sisters-in-law Joyce Purcell of Fresno, CA, Sharon Woznicki (Dan Woznicki) of Orange, CT. Bill was a loving Pepe to 23 amazing grandchildren and 18 wonderful great grandchildren.
Bill is pre-deceased by his mother, Bernadine Nicoson, His brothers Robert Perkins (Kay Perkins), Ronald Perkins (Kathy Perkins), Nephew Timothy Buffi and Grandson Dustin R. Hall, Father-in-law James R. McDougall Sr of Stratford, CT, mother-in-law Billie McDougall of Orange CT.
He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and a community of friends that were all like family to him.
William proudly served his country through the Vietnam Campaign. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, 3 Overseas Bars and was also was noted as an Expert Rifleman.
Bill had a passion over the years for a variety of things. He had a love for nature and the outdoors. Feeding his birds and wildlife. He enjoyed golf and racing and was accomplished in wood burning and cooking. Fishing was a lifelong pastime with both freshwater and salt water. He passed this passion onto his grandchildren. An avid collector of gadgets, his pen and lighter collections graced the den. He was a generous man and known for his love of stories and jokes, his wish was to make people smile.
