Carol L. Striker

Born on April 26, 1943 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of Ross and Florence (Vongunden) Unch.

Carol was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

A parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Clearfield, Carol married her husband, Michael Striker, Jr. in the church on February 23, 1963.

Carol was a sales associate for many years and retired in 2008 from Walmart. In her spare time, she enjoyed many crafts, including her latest project, creating a house out of plastic canvas.

Carol is survived by her three children, Kelly Lefort and her husband, Charles of Clearfield, Michael “Mick” Striker and his wife, Pamela (Dunlap) of Warren, PA, Robert “Bohb” Striker and his wife, Stephanie (Rice) of Tyrone, PA; seven grandchildren, Charles Lefort, II and his wife, Gabriella, William Lefort, Day Striker, Lily Striker, Elliot Striker, Ashley Striker, and Ebonee Striker.

She is also survived by three sisters, Anna Davis and her husband, Bill of Clearfield, Jackie Kunes and her husband, Curt of State College, PA, Bonnie Horton and her husband, Jim May of Lancaster, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

In honor of her wishes, all services for Carol will be private.

Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Clearfield.
