

He was born April 20, 1925 in Clearfield he was the son of John A. and Byrde O. (McGarvey)
Rodgers.
David had served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II.
He retired from County National Bank as Vice President of Commercial Lending
After thirty-six years of service.
David and his wife Cleo were members of Trinity Methodist Church for more than
Sixty years.
He was a member of the Clearfield Elks Club, the American Legion, and the National Rifle Association.
David enjoyed bowling, hunting, camping, golfing, and visiting with friends.
He is survived by his wife Cleo (Sipe) Rodgers, whom he married on December 27, 1947 at the Trinity United Methodist Church; three children, Jan Smith and her husband Ray of
Williamsport, Scott Rodgers and his wife Cheryl of Greer, SC and Thomas Rodgers and his wife Sharon of Hollidaysburg; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his parents; his five siblings, Nan Barger, Jack Rodgers, Byrde Lansberry, Jim Rodgers, and Bill Rodgers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at theTrinity United Methodist Church, with Rev. Robert Stump officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of services.
