Dennis G. Middleton

He was born August 13, 1955, in Cleveland, OH, the son of Charles A. and Ida B. (Carter) Middleton.

Dennis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He retired after twenty five years from the Clearfield County Base as a 911 Dispatcher.

Dennis was Methodist by faith.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved his children and grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Karen L. (Moriarity) Middleton whom he married on November 20, 1976, three children; Honi Ross and her husband, David, Brett Middleton and his partner, Alisha Gisewhite and Shane Middleton and his wife Jamie all of Clearfield, six grandchildren; Matthew, Ryon, Emma, Ally, Brett Isaac and Cole and two sisters, Doris Cook and Dawn M. Middleton, both of Cleveland, OH also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, E. Lynell Moore.

Funeral Services will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust Street, Clearfield, PA 16830 on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Joleen A. Willis officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9PM and on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the services.

Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 26 S. 2nd Street, Clearfield, PA 16830.
