Born on September 8, 1941 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania; a son of the late Frederick Raymond Peters and Mary Elizabeth (McKee) Peters.
He worked at Penn State in the food services department for over twenty five years. He loved to bowl and go to Little League games.
Survivors include four siblings: Linda L. Mays of Clearfield, John D. Peters and his wife Joan of Benton, PA, Robert A. Peters and his wife Leanne of Clearfield, and James D. Peters of Clearfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother-in-law, Charles Mays.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Grace United Presbyterian Church in Glen Richey on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 6 PM.
Friends and family are invited to the church for a time of gathering from 5 PM until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Clearfield Little League.
