

Mr. Lansberry was born October 28, 1944 in Philipsburg, PA, the son of Norlin H. “Jack” and Bertha Mary (Harmic) Lansberry.
He was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Class of 1962.
Jack worked for Kurtz Brothers, Al Hamilton Contracting, Samuel J. Lansberry Trucking, and drove for Walmart Transportation as a truck driver for 21 years, retiring in 2014.
He served in the Army National Guard for six years during the Vietnam Era.
Jack was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, where he served as church treasurer.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and loved working on his farm.
Jack is survived by his three children; Craig L. Lansberry and his wife Tia of Woodland and their children; Jacob and Katelyn, Amy E. Lansberry Snyder of Harrisburg and her children; Brynnleigh and Landon, and Kurt J. Lansberry and his wife Kristen of Fuquay-Varina, NC and their children; Benjamin and Dylan Jack, a sister, Ann Clifton of Omaha, TX and his beloved boxer, Tyson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, the love of his life for over 51 years, Betty Lou (Brown) Lansberry whom he married October 12, 1968 and who passed away January 30, 2020.
Funeral Services will be held at the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, 20 Egypt Road, Woodland, PA 16881 on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gregg A. Kohlhepp officiating. Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery. Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Clearfield Honor Guard.
Friends will be received at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and on Sunday at the church from 1:00 PM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Special Operations Warrior Foundation, P.O. Box 89367, Tampa, FL 33689.
