

He was born February 24, 1962 in Philipsburg, son of Mary R. Dickson of West Decatur and the late Brinton R. Dickson.
Jim had been employed as a bus driver, and delivery driver for Taft Co., and a mechanic for Seger’s Wheel Alignment.
He was baptized catholic.
Jim enjoyed football, music doing sound systems for different bands, and wrestling. Jim was an avid racing fan and a race car driver. He drove several tracks in the area.
He was a high school wrestler and state Runner up in 1981. He continued his wrestling career at Penn State Altoona Campus; in his freshmen year he won PA Commonwealth State Championship. From there he went on to wrestle in the Pro Circuit using the name of Gentleman Jim the Giant, where he wrestled many of the WWF stars.
Most of all Jim’s passion was spending time with his son, Aaron.
He is survived by his son Aaron James Dickson who resides with his mother, Kim (George) Dickson of Clearfield, two brothers, Bill Dickson and his wife Mary of Clearfield, Steve Dickson and his wife Kim all of West Decatur. Also Surviving two nieces Stephanie Thomas and her husband Ben, Brittany Slother and her husband Doug and two nephews Kevin Dickson and his wife Emily, Billy Dickson and his wife Amanda, and several great nieces and nephews
James was preceded in death by his father, Brinton R. Dickson.
Funeral services will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home on Friday, February 26, 2016 At 10:00 A.M. with Msgr. Henry Krebs officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends are invited to the funeral home on Thursday, February 25,2016 form 5-9 P.M., and there will be an additional hour of viewing on Friday, February 26,2016 from 9 A.M. until the hour of services.
