

He was born on September 14, 1932, in Clearfield, the son of James D. and Wanda (Brown) Quinn.
Mr. Quinn was a veteran in the United States Army having served during the Korean War and spent 22 years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He received three Army Commendations Medals for Meritorious Services.
He was of Methodist faith.
Mr. Quinn was a former member of the American Legion and the VFW and Operating Engineers Local 66.
He is survived by a daughter, Diana Quinn of Clearfield and a son, Daniel Quinn of NY; three grandchildren; Carla Shomo-Manspeaker, Jessica Jeffries and Tyler Quinn, two sisters; Dorothy Wisor, and Betty Hanes both of Clearfield and his former wife, Elizabeth Quinn of Clearfield.
Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Edward, John, Pat and Bud Quinn, two sons; James and Timothy “Buckwheat” Quinn, an infant great-grandson, Jameson Timothy Quinn.
Funeral services will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. of Clearfield on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Penney Rahm officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park, Hyde.
Friends will be received for viewing and visitation at the funeral home on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 PM. Military Honors will be accorded at the funeral home on Friday, August 10th at 6:45 PM by the Clearfield American Legion Post #6 and the VFW post #1785 Honor Guard.
Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. are in charge of the arrangements.
