Janet L Coudriet

Born February 25, 1930 in Clearfield, she was the daughter of James Emery and Alma (Smeal) Daub.

She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School.

On February 2, 1951 she wed Irvin W. Coudriet at the West Side United Methodist Church, Clearfield. Together they raised their two sons, Bill and Jerry.

Janet was a homemaker and one of the longest members of the West Side United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 29 years. She also assisted and taught Bible School for a number of years. Janet enjoyed listening to music, especially hymns, country music and marching band tunes.

Janet is survived by her two sons: Bill L. (Betty) Coudriet, Indiana, PA and Jerry L. (Peggy Deible) Coudriet; two granddaughters, Shawna (Andrew) Rothrock, Clearfield and Jessica (Kyle) Linden, Beavercreek, OH; and five great-grandchildren, Trevor, Lydia, Abby, Charlotte, and Brooke. She is also survived by one sister, Peggy (James) Stewart, Richardson, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janet is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Daub and Harold L. Daub.

Friends will be received at The Bennett & Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA on Wednesday, October 12 from 10 – 12 noon at which time funeral services will begin. Interment will follow in the Historic Crown Crest Cemetery, Clearfield, PA.
