Marjorie E. Owens

Mrs. Owens was born on June 29, 1942 in Woodland, PA, the daughter of Orvis and Twila (Luzier) Jordan.

She was a homemaker and Protestant by faith.

Mrs. Owens is survived by three daughters; Shelley Confer and her companion John Shade and their children; Brandon, Arielle, Niki and Cassie of Deal Island, MD., Leslie Bouch and her husband Dave and their children; Daniel, Amber, Ashton, Douglas, Allison, Amanda, Dylan, Devin and Addison of Mahaffey and Shannon Brewer and her husband Randy and their children; Katie, Brittany, Cameron and Avery of Jessup, MD., two sisters; Evelyn Peters of Youngstown, OH and Pat Davis and her husband Bill of Abingdon, VA., a brother, Bernard Jordan and his wife Delores of Woodland and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Daniel G. “Danny” Owens whom she married March 23, 1966 and who went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2010, two sisters; Norma Jean Jordan and Louise Woods and a brother, Calvin Jordan.

Funeral Services will be held at Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brenda Libreatori officiating. Interment will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland, PA.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, September 15, 2014 from 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the services.
